Donna and I are proud new grandparents, our first, to Emerson Kay Franzel. The daughter of Amanda and Scott Franzel. I won't take Amanda's thunder and give all the details, but she is absolutly the best! It's too bad they are two hours away, we'd like to see her and her Mom and Dad more often. Justin is there too so we don't get to see him as often either.
We are doing well, in good health, and busy. Donna is still working as an office manager for an endodontist, she's been there about 19 years. I am a recruiter for financial executives. I recruit for Smith Barney and Citibank. That's going well also. The nice thing is, with gas prices closing in on $4.50/gal., I don't have to leave the house. I work from home with my phone and computer. It's pretty cool!
We still plan on coming to the reunion. I guess we can cash our stimulus check to pay for the gas, should at least get us there. We may end up staying, (unless the family wants to take up a collection to get rid of us.) LOL :-)
